For the Parents
The purpose of the "Exploring Our Emotions" activity sheet is to help children learn how to identify their emotions, and then understand healthy ways to express them. Flip the Switch believes that identifying emotions sets the foundation of understanding how to handle future traumatic moments.

Key Questions to ask after using the "Exploring Our Emotions" activity sheet
- What are things that make you sad
- What makes you feel happy again
- Are there things that make your friends sad? Do you avoid doing those things?
- How can you make your friends happy again?

You can ask the same questions but enter other emotions from the work sheet ie. annoyed, angry, frustrated, proud.
